our AGM is due to take place at our usual venue of Wisbech Library
NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of The Fenland Family History Society
to be held on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23rd 2021
at Wisbech Library, 5 Ely Place, Wisbech PE13 1EU, commencing 7pm
AGENDA
- Apologies for Absence.
- Approval of the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting 2019.
- Report on behalf of the committee by the Chairman, S. Farmer.
- Presentation and Approval of the Society’s Accounts, C. Swaine.
- Election of the committee members for the coming year. Nominations — Names, with their approval, to be given to the Secretary before the start of the meeting.
- Closure of the Meeting.
Afterwards, our Honorary Vice-President, Bridget Hunter, will give a short talk to commemorate our 20th Anniversary, and there will be an opportunity for members to socialise whilst enjoying celebratory refreshments.
All precautions will be taken to ensure a safe meeting.
Please note:
Our meeting will take place on the ground floor of the library, where there is ample room and ventilation.
Access is via the main door as usual.
Ground floor disabled toilet will be available for use.
Any requests for specific book stall stock /reference material would be appreciated in advance. We wish to minimise use of the lift or movement to the store room.
Usual COVID advice: please do not attend if you have a cough, a fever or difficulty breathing. Masks are recommended, but not essential.
