April Meeting – Sue Paul
Our April meeting saw the return of Sue Paul. It is always a pleasure to hear about the more unusual sources of information she discovers as she carries out her research.
Her journey started with the discovery of a chest of documents in 1913, in the attic of a house that had been in the same family for 200 years. In investigating the papers of Thomas Bowery, Sue has looked at lots of sources to both understand the documents found, and to put them into context. In many cases this means looking at more unusual sources, often hidden in papers not immediately thought of for family or personal research.
